Digital process displays from akYtec

Process displays from akYtec are distinguished by their compact and unique design, unlike the other industrial indicators in the market which are rectangle and take more space for mounting. AkYtec displays fit into boreholes of 22.5 mm for standard signal lamps and push buttons due to their standardized dimensions and cylindrical form. This reduces not just mounting space but mounting tim as well, comparing with usual rectangle devices. Beside the installation into a panel or control cabinet with minimum space requirements, these display can even be easily installed into a push-button box due to its short length (65 mm). The measured value is displayed on a 4-digit 7-segment LED display with characters of 14 mm high. In addition, these devices belong to the IP65 protection class on the front and thus they are protected against water and dust.

For now, akYtec GmbH others three types of digital displays: ITP11, SMI2 and INS-F1.

ITP11 Process indicator 4-20 mA

The loop-powered process indicator ITP11 was designed to be connected to any transmitters with a 4-20 mA output to display the current process value in red or green color. The ITP11 can be easily configured with three function buttons positioned on the cylindrical surface of the device. Besides the signal scaling the configuration may also include:

  • - Setting the decimal point position
  • - Switching between linear and square root function (for special transmitters)
  • - Adjusting the time constant for damping the signal fluctuations
  • - Setting the password to prevent an unauthorized access.

The ITP11 can also be delivered in another version – ITP11-W. this product version has a different enclosure which can be mounted at a wall, on a DIN rail or on a tube:

SMI2 RS485 Display

SMI2 is a universal applicable display unit for monitoring industrial processes over the RS485 interface via protocol Modbus RTU/ASCII. This display can operate not only as a slave but as a master device as well. thus, the SMI2 can display a value from each Modbus Slave without the need for an expensive Modbus Master in the network. This allows implementing simple and cost-effective visualization systems, which can meet a wide range of customer requirements. The SMI2 can also be installed in a remote control panel, in order to display the necessary control values close to the operator.

INS-F1 Digital voltmeter

INS-F1 is a digital voltmeter for measuring AC voltage in the range between 5 and 400 V and is factory-calibrated. This eliminates any configuration effort during the installation of the device. The device requires 24 V DC auxiliary voltage.
