Gateways for akYtec Cloud. New products in our portfolio
We are glad to introduce a new addition to our product lineup: gateways for akYtec Cloud. These devices are designed to provide a reliable and user-friendly solution for connecting akYtec devices and third-party devices with RS485 (Modbus RTU) interfaces to our cloud services.
Key features of the gateways
Gateways establish communication between devices and akYtec Cloud through the following interfaces:
- GE-24-Cloud: RS485 <-> Ethernet
- GW-24-Cloud: RS485 <-> Wi-Fi
- GG-24-Cloud: RS485 <-> GPRS
All gateways have the same compact and practical form. The devices are housed in a plastic body with an IP20 rating and are designed for DIN rail mounting.

- Power supply: 24VDC
- Operating temperature range: -40 to +55 °C
- Protection: IP20
Easy connection to akYtec Cloud
Setting up the gateways for use with akYtec Cloud is simple and intuitively understandable. Here are the steps required:
- For GE-24-Cloud and GW-24-Cloud: configure a static IP address or enable DHCP.
- For GG-24-Cloud: insert a SIM card.
This setup process ensures quick integration with your existing system, minimizing downtime and effort.
Product launch timeline
The launch of these gateways is being conducted in phases. The first product, GE-24-Cloud, is already available for order. Announcements regarding the availability of GW-24-Cloud and GG-24-Cloud will follow soon. Stay tuned for updates on our website and social media.
Direct connection
The devices with built-in Ethernet capability, such as the PR103 or Mx210, can be connected directly to akYtec Cloud without the need for additional gateways (the devices' firmware needs to be updated). This feature provides added flexibility for systems already equipped with Ethernet interfaces.
