How can I scale the measuring limits of the ITP16?

The scaling is only available for linear voltage signals. If an RTD or a TC sensor is connected, the input signal is scaled by default, and can’t be rescaled. The measurement ranges of all supported sensors are shown in the User Guide, Table 2.2.

To scale the measuring limits of a linear voltage signal, please proceed as follows:

  • - Connect the device to a 24 V DC power supply
  • - Access the parameter menu: Hold down the PROG button for at least 3 s
  • - Set the measuring limits: Find the parameter ‘di.Lo’ by navigating the menu with the UP or DOWN button (these same buttons are used to increase/decrease the value of any selected parameter). Press PROG and set the required value for the lower measuring limit. Press PROG once again to save the value and exit. Set the required value for the upper measuring limit (‘di.Hi’) in a similar way.

To exit the parameter menu, hold down the button PROG for at least 3 s.
