On/Off Temperature Controllers 2TCR1

SKU: 2TCR1

2TCR1 is a dual-channel temperature controller designed for measuring, recording, or automatically regulating temperature, as well as other physical quantities (pressure, humidity, level, flow, etc.). Its key strength lies in independent dual-channel control, allowing for advanced logic like mean value or delta-based regulation. The presence of a second input allows for regulation based on two quantities, calculating either the average value or the difference between the input readings. The presence of RS-485 allows all measured and configurable parameters of the device to be transmitted to the enterprise's dispatching network.

Main features of 2TCR1:

  1. Measurement and regulation of physical quantities across two channels:
    • According to a two-position control law;
    • One measured quantity according to a three-position control law;
    • Analog P-control;
    • Weather-dependent control
  2. Monitoring of communication loss with actuators.
  3. Alarm for measured quantities exceeding specified limits.
  4. Programming via MicroUSB.
  5. Manual control mode for actuators.

FAQ

    FAQ

    What types of sensors are supported by the 2TCR1? Are 4–20 mA and 0–10 V signals supported?

    Yes, the 2TCR1 supports a wide range of standardized analog signals:

    • Current signals: 0–5 mA, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA
    • Voltage signals: 0–5 V, 0–10 V

    It also supports a broad range of RTD and TC (thermocouple) sensors.

    How is data logging performed? Is there built-in memory?

    The 2TCR1 does not have a built-in data logging function. For this purpose, it is recommended to use external devices such as the Akytec MSD200 module, which can archive data via the RS-485 network.

    Which parameters can be configured via Akytec Tool Pro?

    With the Akytec Tool Pro software, you can configure the following:

    • Operating modes of logic units (LU): comparator, P-controller, data logger
    • Types of input signals
    • Temperature setpoints and hysteresis
    • Alarm and fault parameters
    • Display settings

    All configurations are saved in the device’s non-volatile memory

    What operating modes are available for each channel of the temperature controller?

    The 2TCR1 supports the following operating modes:

    • Two-position (relay) mode: Control of the actuator with two states (on/off).
    • Three-position mode: Regulation with two setpoints and two actuators.
    • Analog P-control: Proportional control using analog signals.
    • Weather-dependent regulation: Control based on external climatic conditions.

    Each channel can operate independently in one of these modes.
