akYtec Webinar

Join us live:

13 November 2025, 11:00 (UTC+2, Central Europe)

Language: English

Platform: Zoom

Why attend

In 45 minutes you’ll see how to:

  • Make a program for PR205/PR225 from scratch in akYtec ALP (FBD & ST).
  • Build a local HMI with clear process screens (no extra panel needed).
  • Connect via Ethernet / RS-485 and push data to akYtec Cloud.
  • Expand I/O with PRM / Mx110 / Mx210 modules for real projects.
  • Keep hardware cost under 300 EUR while meeting HVAC/water/utility tasks.

Who should attend: control engineers, system integrators, OEMs, maintenance teams.

Extras: live Q&A, project files after the session, recording for all registrants.

What we’ll cover (agenda)

  1. A short overview — PR205 vs PR225: form factors & when to pick each.
  2. Hands-on setup — creating the first project in ALP (FBD + ST).
  3. HMI on device — designing clear screens, alarms, and quick buttons.
  4. Networking — Modbus TCP/RTU, data to akYtec Cloud, logging basics.
  5. I/O expansion — using PRM/Mx modules to grow beyond built-in points.
  6. Live Q&A — your questions on sizing, wiring, and integration.

The controllers at a glance

PR205 — DIN-rail mini-PLC with graphic display

  • 4" color screen (320×240) with 6 programmable buttons and 5 LEDs
  • I/O: 4 AI (PT1000, NTC/PTC, 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, discrete), 3 AO (4–20 mA / 0–10 V), 6 DI (24 V) + 2 fast (to 100 kHz), 8 DO (relay or transistor)
  • Networking: Ethernet (Modbus TCP, direct to akYtec Cloud), up to 2× RS-485 (RTU/ASCII)
  • Expansion: PRM or Mx210 modules
  • Power/Env.: 24 V AC/DC; –20…+55 °C
  • Setup: USB or Ethernet

PR225 — panel-mounted mini-PLC with graphic display

  • 5" color screen (320×480), 7 programmable buttons, 5 LEDs
  • I/O: 4 AI (PT1000, NTC/PTC, 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, discrete), 2 AO (4–20 mA / 0–10 V), 8 DI (24 V or 230 V), 8 DO (relay or transistor)
  • Networking: Ethernet (Modbus TCP, akYtec Cloud), up to 2× RS-485 (RTU/ASCII)
  • Expansion: Mx110 and Mx210
  • Power/Env.: 24 V AC/DC or 230 V AC; –20…+55 °C
  • Setup: USB or Ethernet

Both devices are programmed in akYtec ALP (free, Windows; IEC 61131-3 FBD & ST).

Typical use cases: ventilation, heating, air-conditioning, water supply, and other systems requiring a clear on-device display and simple configuration.
