Each unit of process equipment has its own independent automation cabinet based on programmable relay akYtec PR100. More than 40 cabinets are distributed on the territory of the object and are located in close proximity to the controlled equipment. At such construction of system, due to reduction of quantity of cable and wiring products, the budget of project realization is reduced by more than 30%. In addition, the reliability and maintainability of the automation system increases.

Maintenance personnel, even in the absence of experience in the operation of this object, easily finds faults, because it is necessary to deal not with a large cabinet of the centralized system with a huge number of inputs / outputs, and with a fairly primitive panel of local automation. In case of failure of akYtec PR100 (which did not happen for 2 years of operation) flashing of the backup (and installing it in the cabinet) takes no more than 15-20 minutes.

For centralization of the complex control, construction of grain transshipment routes and ensuring mutual interlocking of technological equipment technological equipment, all cabinets are interconnected via RS485 interface, and in the control room there is a touch screen operator panel. operator's touch panel.

Initially, the project envisioned the use of a conventional PLC to control a network of cabinets with akYtec PR100, but writing macros for the operator panel allowed to overlap the functionality assigned to the PLC and abandon its use.
