Since we have introduced PRM-24.3 and PRM-230.3 – your PR200 can have even more built-in analog inputs and outputs from now on.

With each of these extension modules, you can add 4 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs to your PR200’s built-in I/Os. Under ‘built-in’ is meant that the PR200 recognizes these inputs and outputs as its own. Thus, the I/O extension over an internal bus is not only easier to implement but also beneficial in terms of performance – no restrictions of the communication protocol as if adding I/Os via Modbus, etc.

The 4 analog inputs are individually configurable for a wide variety of RTDs, TCs, as well as standard linear current (4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-5mA) or voltage (0-1V, -50...50mV) signals, and even resistive signals in the range of 0...3950Ω. Now you can smoothly connect Pt100 to the PR200, not to mention many other temperature sensors such as Pt1000, Pt50, Pt500, as well as thermocouples of type J, N, K, S, and more. On the output side, you can select from 0-10V, 0-5V, 4-20mA, 0-20mA, or 0-24mA when configuring either of outputs.

Depending on the device variant, PRM-24.3 or PRM-230.3, you can order the module either for 24V DC or 230 V AC supply voltage to meet your project requirements better.
