PID Temperature controller TCR10

SKU: TCR10

The TCR10 is a universal PID controller designed for precise measurement and control of temperature, pressure, level, humidity, flow, concentration, and other physical parameters in various industrial processes.Depending on the application, the controller can operate in PID, PI, PD, or On/Off control modes.
The Auto-Tune function automatically determines the optimal PID parameters, ensuring stable and accurate control without manual adjustment.A key strength of the TRM10 is its high-precision PID algorithm, maintaining process stability within ±0.2 °C.
The built-in RS-485 interface (Modbus ASCII/RTU) enables remote configuration, monitoring, and integration into automation systems.

Main features of TCR10:

  • Universal input for various sensor types: thermocouples, RTDs, and analog signals (0–10 V, 4–20 mA).
  • Multiple control modes: On/Off, P, PI, PD, PID.
  • Auto-Tune function for automatic PID parameter optimization.
  • Remote start/stop via additional digital input.
  • Alarm functions for process deviation and loop break detection (LBA).
  • USB-C interface for easy configuration from PC (no external power required).
  • RS-485 (Modbus ASCII/RTU) communication for integration into SCADA and control systems.
  • Power supply options: 230 V AC or 24 V DC.
  • Operating temperature range: –40 °C … +50 °C.

FAQ

    FAQ

What types of sensors are supported by the TCR10? Are 4–20 mA and 0–10 V signals supported?

Yes, the TCR10 supports a wide range of standardized analog signals:

    • Current signals: 0–5 mA, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA
    • Voltage signals: 0–5 V, 0–10 V

It also supports a broad range of RTD and TC (thermocouple) sensors.

How is data logging performed? Is there built-in memory?

The TCR10 does not have a built-in data logging function. For this purpose, it is recommended to use external devices such as the Akytec MSD200 module, which can archive data via the RS-485 network.

Which parameters can be configured via Akytec Tool Pro?

With the Akytec Tool Pro software, you can configure the following:

    • Operating modes of logic units (LU): comparator, P-controller, data logger
    • Types of input signals
    • Temperature setpoints and hysteresis
    • Alarm and fault parameters
    • Display settings

All configurations are saved in the device’s non-volatile memory

What are the software requirements for configuring the device?
For configuring the TCR10, it is recommended to use the Akytec Tool Pro software, which is compatible with Windows operating systems. The software provides an intuitive interface for device configuration, monitoring, and firmware updates.
